The Sun Inn, Troutbeck Bridge

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and perfect for my three kids. The bed was big and super comfy. The service was excellent, and the housekeeping was top-notch. The location couldn't be better, as it's right in the center of Windermere and very close to the lake. The area is just lovely. The dining experience was fantastic with delicious home-made pastry. Overall, a great value for money.

The hotel is centrally located in Windermere, close to bus stops and in a nice area, but a taxi is needed to reach Lake Windermere if you don't want to drive or walk. The rooms are spacious and feature a big, comfy bed with what seems like a new carpet and a lovely view.
